Physiotherapy is an integral part of the overall health care system of a community or a country. Ageing, injury and disease are some of the causes that cripple the normal functioning of individuals. Physiotherapy identifies treatment in such situations and gives the patients an opportunity to enhance the quality of their lives.
VMU offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Physiotherapy in the Vinayaka Mission`s College of Physiotherapy, Salem. The college, established in 1993, is one of the pioneers in physiotherapy education in the state.
